FTB not opening on mac

Every time I try and open up ftb, it will say FML is setting something up and then freeze if anyone knows what to do thanks a lot (Playing on mac) and (The launcher opens up fine)

Make sure you have Java 6 not 7. Follow this guide exactly to install the launcher the recommended way and downgrade to Java 6. After that if you are still experiencing problems please post a console log in debug mode to pastebin.com and link to it here. This guide will help with the log.

The downgrade did not work. You are still using Java 7. Ashzification just posted this in another thread I was helping a user downgrade as well. The downgrade was unsuccessful on his Mac as well. Here is the quoted message.

Did you enter the additional java parameters in the launcher? if not, do this...

open the launcher
click options
click advanced options
in the "additional java parameters" type this
-XXermSize=128m
