FTB Normal Metadata not found

I downloaded a new ftb instance, with an empty folder. I downloaded the map for FTB normal and when I go into the game it doesn't show nei and it says that the Metadata is not found.
What do I do?

First of all could you post a printscreen of that please! and second of all try pressing the "O" key to show up NEI.

hmm u downloaded the map? also normal or insane? .. u sure u downloaded the right ftb modpack? .. since the maps are for 1.2.5 not for 1.4.2 ...

Yes I downloaded the map, then I downloaded the mappack.

better was be u post a crash log or something or the console from ftb
btw metadata is just a simple info help .. was not working correctly on 1.2.5 has also nothing to do whit that .. it shows same at mine too .. so dont worry ..
nei is normaly disabled on ftb maps since they dont want peeps cheating trough, u can reactivate it inside the config files ..
normaly NEI activation button is O when u inside ur inventory ...

Myt, thanks I think that is what I was most worried about. And for what ever reason I'm ALWAYS a noob and forgetting the whole O key for NEI. :/
