Yeah, the record for the fastest run is about 2 Hours which at the moment is held by 2 people......

No one else has either come close to this, or if they have, have never made us aware of it.
But the Completion time for the 1st person to complete the map while it was still in closed BETA (who was a non-dev of any mod or part of the map team), was around 13 Hours 40 Minutes.
How do I know/remember this you may ask? Well, I was that person *cough*. Yeah, I understand that it could be improved upon, but, back in the day, i spent ages trying to figure out the Bedrock it drove me crazy, and forced the completion time "through the roof" (cause you know, no one had completed the map before, and no one - apart from the builders - knew the secret behind it).
So, in all retrospect, 15.5 hours isn't that bad, and yeah I agree with you, once you complete the map and know what reward gives what, and have ways around certain things, yeah, the time can be greatly improved
