Having some trouble with Thaumcraft here. I'm at a node holding right click and it isn't charging. I played around with Thaumcraft in Magic Farm 2 and feel like I'm doing everything the same...I've already researched all the aspects and have the beginning researches...I can list which ones I have specifically if it matters, but I didn't think it did.

Any pointers?

Sometimes nodes do that, try relogging, moving closer to the node, or moving away

Herba is a compoun aspect. Compund aspects in nodes can only be used by an advanced wand recharging station.
Sriously, the thaumonomonomonomicon EXPLICITLY states that.

Ah good to know. Is there a config for how many nodes spawn as well? This was the first one I've found all game and when I was playing Magic Farm 2 it seemed like they were everywhere.

Once you get your compound charger you essentially have a huge terra, aqua, ordo node right there.
I'd jar it when you can.

So if I change it in the config will they regen? Or retrogen as I guess its called, so there are more 1 per 16?

I think I spotted an option for retrogen of nodes in the thaumcraft config, but you'll have to check. Before you do it though make sure others on the server are cool with it becasue it might reset the current positions of nodes.
