FTB Monster (specifically) does not connect to LAN

Literally as the title says, Monster does not connect to LAN... Direwolf20 does. Crash Landing does. I have internet. No network conflicts. Let me stress the fact once more so I dont get any "special" responses... MONSTER is the only mod pack I can not connect to LAN on. Why? I don't know what other information to give here, so let me know, all I know is this is the only mod pack I have problems with which sucks because my girlfriend wants to play this one in particular... Help!
 
Can you at least give us the finer detail, does your GF see the LAN game in her client?

If she does what message if any does she get on her side when trying to connect?

Have you tried it the other way around, the other person host?

Have you tried launching MC, going straight into SSP opening to LAN without being into SMP beforehand, there's a known bug that if you go and play a SMP game and then try and launch SSP LAN it will not work, something about session tokens being different.
