Hi Guys

Found some other bugs today. Not sure if it's been mentioned

Single Player

Single player works fine. 2 errors - doesn't effect the game as of yet

Error 1 - Logistic Pipes out of date version. New version is 113.
Error 2 - Aroma1997core failed to do version checking - problem with network connection.

Multiplayer Server

Same errors

Error 1 - Logistic Pipes out of date version. New version is 113 (doesn't effect the game)
Error 2- Aroma1997core failed to do version checking - problem with network connection or my game.

the problem with error 2 is, a person can join the server. But when you connect to the server, it disconnects the players on the server. I've tried to disable Aroma1997core, but the server then will not load up. Disabling the other mod compactwindmill MC (this cannot run without the aroma1997 mod). The server crashes and says both the Aroma1997 & Compactwindmills are not on the server. Pain

With ref to error 1 - if you update the version to the latest one. This also crashes the server - Logisticspipes V108 is missing, even though you have updated to the new version and added the mod, through FTB. It crashes the server.

any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Guys, here is the screen shot for the error and the text file for the server log. It's saved as a RAR extension. I needed to change the extension to .txt so I could attach it to this message.

FYI - change the .txt extension to .rar extension to open using WINRAR.

What do you mean unreadable. I didn't change the file on my system, that is still the extension .log

I needed to change the extension to .txt, so I could attach the file to this forum.

If you save the forgemodloader to your HD, and change the extension back to .RAR, you will be able to get the complete sever log?????

Meh, its just because I opened it with my ipad. :p
I'm not seeing anything wrong with this log. Perfectly healthy server as far as I can tell.

Why would you use .rar le sigh. Side note if it is a .log or .txt keep it that way or at the very most change the .log to a .txt which shouldn't change anything, Ora compress it with zip gunzip bz2 etc.

You will need to repost it. That file is unreadable.

"please see previous post. " The server log is to big to post on this forum. I had to winzip the file, so I could post the server log on this forum. Because when uploading a file. It will not accept a .RAR extension, I had to change the .RAR extension to a.txt extension so I could post the sever log. The attatched file is not suppose to be read directly off the forum.. YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE FILE, so you can change the .txt extension to a .RAR extension. Then unzip the RAR file to read the server log.

reading the server log.

1. download file to your HD
2. change the .txt extension to .RAR extension
3. unzip file, using WinRAR or similar program
4. read the server log.

Not everyone can use .rar my computer can NOT run make use execute open read that file type, and I know i'm not alone. Now then as most other posts in this forum state- USE HTTP://PASTEBIN.COM TO POST YOUR LOG it will fit there.

Except for one teeny-tiny issue. Pastebin's max paste size is 512kb.

His file is still too large to paste there. Please stop acting so smug and superior if you can't even check your facts.

Insults will get you nowhere here, I use pastebin pro and can paste up to about 10MB.

Also a server.log should never even be that large as you should swap them out every restart. Rename it server.log.1.swp and restart.

There are also more paste sites then just pastebin as a google search that took 1 minute gave me these

http://pastie.org/pastes/new
http://paste.org/porg/home
http://paste.royaldev.org
http://tny.cz
http://justpaste.it
http://paste2.org
One of these offers more then 500KB pastes and there are dozens more.

Back to the issue, is there anyway to solve this problem? (Error 2) I keep having the same problem whenever I try to add additional players to my server.

do you have a client side error/console log you can post? Hard to help solve the issue if we don't know what's happening.

There seems to be a priority to different players, like if my friend is logged in i kick him out and he can't login anymore, however, if i have another player join, my friend stays, but doesn't let the other player login

Bump, Me And My Friends Are Running Into A Similar Problem Playing Monster. All Was Fine For A Couple of Weeks And Since Last Friday Whenever My Friends Log In (Open To Lan) They Spend A Few Minutes And Are disconnected From The Server. As Far As Mods Go, We Have All The Default Mods Enabled plus Ars Magica, Special Mobs, journey Mapper, blood magic.
