FTB mindcrack 8.2 crash problems

Alright, here it goes. whenever I play feed the beast on my friends server, it runs perfectly, doesn't really lag, and I can do just about whatever. After 5-10 minutes I will get a Monumental lag spike and then it crashes, and doesnt leave behind any error report. any ideas on what is causing it and how to fix it?

I run a very small server, for just some of my friends and me, and when we upgraded to mindcrack 8.2, one of my friends began experiencing the same thing, so we downgraded again to 8.1.1 which didn't have that issue. It 'seems' related to voxelmap. But we didn't really test it that much to figure out where the crash came from since 1.5 is out now and we will wait for the mindcrack 1.5 update before trying again.
