Hello FTB Community,

I'm having a major difficulty with FTB Mage Quest crashing on my Macbook Pro. I tried pasting the output after the crash below, but the forum said my post was too long. I'm not much by way of a programer and can't really read this or know what to look for to fix the problems. I've been using the Curse/Twitch Mod launcher. Any help you all can give me in remedying the crashing issue would be greatly appreciated. Playing for a few moments and then having things crash and take forever to load back up isn't my idea of fun.

I'm running a MacBook Pro 15" Mid 2012 with a 2.3GHz Intel Core i7, and NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB and Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536 MB with 16 GB RAM and 1TB SSD.

Thanks

That looks like the minecraft log, rather than the crash report.

There should be a folder called "crash-reports" in the minecraft instance folder and that folder should contain a file called something like:
"crash-2017-10-08_13.21.04-client.txt" (except that it should have the date and time of the crash)

In addition to that. Somewhere near the end of the log you posted it says this:

Code:
# An error report file with more information is saved as:
# /Users/seanwilliams/Documents/Curse/Minecraft/Instances/FTB Mage Quest/hs_err_pid2457.log

This looks like it might be a different file than what I am referring to above, but It might still be interesting.

Make sure you're using the latest version of the driver for your Nvidia card.
Update java to the latest version 8.144 (don't go for java 9)

Try again, and if it still fails - post new log
