What is the best early game tactics to get industrial ASAP?
How can I speed up resource digging early game? Only quarry available is from Extra Utilities and is quite costly.
Redstone Arsenal has pickaxe, but is very under-documentet, so I don't know is it really good and how to make it.

The flux infused equipment from Redstone arsenal is probably the best equipment you can get in FTB Lite. NEI should tell you how to make it.

Tried them - not quite impressive. Looks like better bet would be using enchanted vanilla tools.

You can enchant Flux Infused tools and turn the enchants on and off

Do this. Enchanting those tools is a really great choice. They're balanced around enchants.

barrels only store 1 item type, so you could use them for i.e. your cobble, for the rest i would stick with chests for now.
The Aqueous Accumulator generates water.

I can understand why lightweight modpack exclude AE. But why no Iron Chests...

Efficiency? It makes them require less power.
