Details of the issue:

Launcher seems to be downloading between 40-200 megabytes of data before every launch (I'm on a metered connection) Resulting in extremely slow game-launch times when I'm using my limited-data modem.​

Same thing happening for me, but with Infinity Evolved. Downloading 204038Kb every time, and very slowly at that.

Edit: I realized my issue, which is that I'm stupid. I was apparently deleting the files accidentally as I was trying to set up my server (copied the server files from the wrong file).

As I only play solo that wouldn't go the same for me now would it? Yet every launch without fail somewhere between 40-200 megabytes and with my slow/metered connection this could take upwards of 3 hours.. and this all happens before the game launches more or less making it impossible for me to play until I switch to a faster connection..

I've tracked down most of the issue to non-optional mod updates but that still leaves it taking so long when it isn't doing that; and I believe that's a server connection issue between my ISP and FTB's modpack servers (containing the modpacks not servers using the modpacks) As when my data's limited it literally drops down to about 56kb/s meaning the 2-4 mb server authorization falls flat on its face.
