Windows .exe ftb launcher wont open

when ever i try to open the launcher the console gives me this:

Stop doing that. You don't need to post on every other thread that appears to have the same problem you're experiencing.

Many of the issues I've seen with the updated launcher have been related to the users game setup, so I'd like to rule that out as a possibility.

If that does not work for you, please post your console log to to pastebin.com and link it in this thread.

okay i figured out what was wrong. it turns out that java 7 wasn't properly installing over java 6 due to a registry error so i used Iobits free uninstaller thing to remove both it and java 7 then installed java 7 works fine now :)
