FTB Launcher wont download mod packs

When i try to download the mod packs, (I followed solutions people put up) It says "Downloading Mod Packs" and then it never downloads anything. And the console just gets stuck.

BTW i was trying to download mainly the FTBBetaA but it still didnt work with the others

Help! I really want to start making a FTB Multiplayer Let's Play.

Try leaving it and waiting, the servers are often very slow. You could also try checking status.feed-the-beast.com to make sure they're up when you're downloading the modpacks. If this doesn't work post the entire console log.

Please check your console to see if you are downloading from chicago2, you will see something like this..

Downloading Mod Pack
http://chicago2.creeperrepo.net/... etc

If you are go to the options panel of the launcher and click the advanced options button and change your download location to anything other then US West or automatic(so pick US East, US secondary or Europe )

It doesn't work (at least not for me), whatever download server I use. Still sticks at 0%

If you have AVG (or maybe another antivirus), uninstall it completely. It will leave your computer unprotected for a few seconds, but the download should start. This was my problem at least.
