FTB launcher will not launch

Details of the issue:
When ever I try to launch FTB I get this error in the console "Unhandled exception in Thread[AWT-EventQueue-0,6,main]: java.lang.NullPointerException" I have searched online and have found nothing that fixes this can anyone here help?​
