FTB Launcher version v1.0.0 (or is it 2? File details says 2??)
Minecraft Version: 1.4.2
Java version:
java version "1.7.0_09"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_09-b05)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 23.5-b02, mixed mode)
Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated:
While recording with fraps there appears to be some sort of events that trigger where fraps recording stops and starts in rapid session.
I've updated fraps to 3.5.9 (build 15586)
I've forced updated the FTB Launcher
I also removed Optifine thinking it could be that.
Error logs:

I don't think Fraps plays well with the FTB launcher. My advice would be to transfer the mod pack into MultiMC and record it that way.

I would try MultiMC though I thought I had read that its not currently compatible[DOUBLEPOST=1352945891][/DOUBLEPOST]Bandicam at least seems to suffer no issue with this

Close your console window while recording, it will increase the stability. In my experience that does not get rid of the problem entirely, but it will help. If you can afford it, I would recommend getting dxtory, as it has almost no issues with recording FTB.

I'm having this same exact problem. Closing the console helped (Thanks jessassin). I tried Dxtory, but it came with it's own problems. Dxtory also gave the same exact problem, it would create dozens if not hundreds of little video files. My theory is that Dxtory was actually recording both the Minecraft window and FTB console at the same time, but the console was the only thing glitching so the file I was looking for was still intact. Fraps was doing the same thing, but it didn't separate the windows so when one glitched both did.

Is there a way to permanently disable the console? (I know I would lose access to tech support if I did)

I would love it if there was a way. I looked at the source code, and it doesn't seem that it would be hard to do. We should start a petition :)

Use MultiMC to import your FTB install as a new instance. You still get an error log window but you don't have to deal with the FTB launcher/console at all.

Also, Bandicam works fine even with the FTB launcher.
