Windows .exe Ftb Launcher/Minecraft failing to launch fully

Description of the problem:
I am trying to use the DW20 1.6.4 pack version 1.0.12. I keep crashing/getting a not responding after trying to launch the pack. Not even getting to the screen that allows me to pick single or multiplayer.

Thank you for posting in the right format. Edit: Does this happen with any new worlds or just this one?

I'm not sure exactly why you are getting this error. The update check for Logistics Pipes (LP) should not cause any errors that would not allow you to proceed with using the game. You should first try allocating more memory in the launcher between 2-5GB should work. If that does not solve the problem and you are up for it backup your save and try following the basic troubleshooting guide again or updating the pack or Logistics Pipes to version 1.0.13(DW20pack) or 0.7.4.dev.102(LP). Note that updating the pack will include the update for LP.

It freezes/ crashes on this screen- So I can even make a world/join a server
