FTB Launcher is not launching

I started the FTB Launcher the other day and it immediately asked me to update to the latest version. I clicked "yes" and it exited the program, and nothing has ever happened since then. I continuously tried to launch and re-launch the launcher, but whether I double click or right-click and select "open" on the FTB icon on my desktop, nothing happens. No error, no crashing, no freezing, nothing. I deleted all FTB files and tried downloading fresh from the FTB website but the executable does the same thing. It doesn't respond whatsoever when I try to run it. How do I fix this?

Did you delete the 'ftblauncher' folder from your appdata/roaming folder?
