Windows .exe FTB Launcher doesn't launch any modpacks

Description of the problem:
When clicking the launch button, nothing happens.
Modpacks launch, however, using my brother's account on the the same computer as before.

(Optional information if issue involves download problems)
Anti-malware software and/or firewall: Both tried disabled, same result.

Uninstall all versions of Java. Reboot. Install Java 1.7.0_51 x64 from here:

Uninstall all versions of Java. Reboot. Install Java 1.7.0_51 x64 from here:

I don't see any problems in the log, except that it's taking a little while to validate your account. How long did you wait for it to load?
