FTB just keeps closing randomly PLEASE HELP!!

Go to your admin pannel and select "uninstall programs".
Scrool down to letter "J" and uninstall any version of Java you can see there.
Then, go to http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/index.html and click the "Download" button below "JRE". If you are a Java developper, click the "Download" button below "JDK".
Tick "Accept Liscence Aggreements" and select the version of Java for your computer. If you are running Windows x64, choose the ".exe" file instead of the ".tar.gz" one which is a bit more difficult to install.
Run the file right after you downloaded it and install Java.
 
OK i appreciate the help and again i tried to do it my java is installed correctly me and my wife are playing together we both have updated java in the same way hers works and mine doesn't after thib told me to update my java i tried it again uninstalled all the older versions and to no avail it still crashes...its not immediate i can play for awhile sometimes 15-20 mins but then it will crash.

This error appears to be a driver issue since reinstalling Java did not fix it. OpenAL stands for Open Audio Library so start with your sound card drivers then your video card drivers. Also if updating does not work or you are up to date maybe try downgrading the driver, especially if it is a beta driver.
