FTB issue with new md5 method

Bugs for older packs will not be fixed, unless they are critical.

Details of the issue:
FTB client says:

Downloading Mod Pack
Issue with new md5 method, attempting to use backup method.
pack.json file not found-Forge/Liteloader will not be able to load!

When I check the mods folder, the folder is completely empty and forge doesn't load. Help​

Does it just stop downloading or continues to download but never end? Please provide a more explicit description of what occurs. Logs are everything!

turns out my hdd was corrupting files and then it died that night. so problem solved :D
