FTB infinty seems very laggy

Details of the issue Hello guys!
So i just decided to give ftb a go!
These are my specs:
i7-6700K OC - 4.6 ghz
16 GB of DDR4 Ram
1080 GTX Hybrid
My monitor is a 1080p 144hz

I usually play overwatch in max settings and i get 150 fps which is great.
I tried Minecraft FTB today and it seems very choppy even though it says im getting 130 fps which sometimes drop to 110 etc. I did add optifine but the issue its still there.
Any suggestions?
