Heyas, I've got a quick question regarding Wither spawning and FTB Infinity. I've successfully made a spawner that uses the autonomous activators (wither skeletons skulls) and block placers (soul sand), but am having a minor issue. Once these blocks receive a redstone signal from a timer, each places the appropriate block, however, once placed, the Wither will not spawn. I have to manually place at least one of the skulls in order for the Wither to spawn and be gobbled up by a Draconic Grinder.

Is there something I'm missing? Perhaps a server setting needs to be adjusted?

Thanks for the help!

I guess this is why every video I've seen uses a redstone repeater to delay the redstone signal to one of the auto. activators (the ones placing the skulls). The reason is, you need to make sure a skull is the last block placed otherwise the Wither doesn't spawn correctly. I used a timer to get my redstone signal, then I split the output and put my repeater on 3 clicks. I also used EnderIO redstone conduit so the signals don't get all crossed. The repeater signal goes to one of the activators and the other signal goes to all the other machines. With EnderIO redstone conduit all you need to do is make sure you use 2 colors in the GUI, very easy.

Wow, I must have completely overlooked that! Thank you VERY much. Fixing now.

I would also recommend that there be a drop under the wither so it doesn't destroy your aa and block places... unless you have grieving off then fire away!! LOL

I had an idea of using spatial storage to store an arrangement of wither-proof blocks, soul sand and wither skelly heads, saved in a pre-spawn condition.

You generate the terrain and it spawns a wither.

Then you kill the wither.

Rinse, repeat.
