Details of the issue:

Trying to play FTB for the first time and this error keeps happening.

Happens upon having downloaded everything, launching the game for the first time.
Done this 3 times now after 3 fresh installs.
I have the most up-to-date Java. I am allocating it over 4GB RAM memory.

Any other possibilities for fix, please tell me, I am a server owner wanting to switch to this ModPack but if my players are going to experience this, its not worth the hassle.​

If you are using FTB launcher, go to launcher settings and select force update then relaunch the pack.

Using Curse.

There should be an install folder either in the curse folder on inside the instance folder, find the following folder, library/net/minecraftforge, and delete the forge folder from the minecraftforge folder. It might fix it.
If it doesn't report the problem to Curse.
