I've been trying to cross breed carrot and sugarcane to get scallion seeds, but all I've gotten was carrots. Any advice as to how to fix it would be appreciated.

I assume you know the parent plants need to both be fully grown before you place the cross sticks.
I also assume you double checked the cross breed recipe is actually correct...

Place the parent plants in a plus pattern, involving two sugarcane and two carrots.

I have an issue with agricraft and witchery. The recipe for the cross-breeding does not show in NEI and the plants refuse to cross-breed. I'm talking about the d starting seeds like mandrake and snowball etc.
