Details of the issue Sorry... these questions are probably around everywhere...
But the other answers has not helped me.
I am on a Macbook Pro with OS X El Capitan V10.11.6 and everytime I try to start the modpack, the symbol pops up and dissapears just as quickly. The window doesn't even appear. You got the link for the crash report.

I have tried everything I could... please help

Uninstall old java versions and install java 8, after that check the launcher setting to make sure it is using java 8.
