Details of the issue Is this thread still open? I need massive help with this mod. Long story short I used to make a crafting table then a crafting station and be able to easily repair most tool (damaged stone axe, put it in the crafting station with the "main block in this case a stone and it repairs itself).... i'm not sure why this has stopped working....any help would be great!

I guess you're using Tinker Contruct.
You can only repair Tinker tools in the Tool Station / Tool Forge.

What about vinalla tools? Like Norma picks and weapons? I know there’s got to be a better way than to keep remaking the same tools over and over lol. Just to get started I’ve been threw 5+ picks and shovels, axes :/

You can't repair Vanilla Tools in Tinker devices.
To repair vanilla tools you can (with Iron Pickaxe as example) :
  • Craft 2 Iron Pickaxes in a crafting grid, to get a Iron Pickaxe with the sum of both durability +10%
  • Use an anvil, put an Iron Pickaxe and some Iron Ingot to get some durability at the cost of xp and iron. You can't repair Wooden and Stone tools.
  • Enchant your tools with Mending (you need a Mending book, use afk fishing farm, strongholds and villagers) and get some xp while holding it
  • Use the Item Repairer from Actually Additions if you have the mod. It's slow and uses a lot of energy, tho
  • Use the DishWasher mrcrayfish's Furnitures mod. It uses soap and is very slow

Those last three are not an option in Infinity Evolved. Mending wasn't in the game in 1.7.10, and the mods you mentioned are not in the modpack.
