FTB Infinity crashing to desktop when trying to connect to a server

Details of the issue:
I crash directly to my desktop, but single player works. :-( I have been able to play (Randomly) but this last crash has left me yet again unable to connect to our server!!! I have put in some long hours on this server...PLEASE HELP :-(
