In my base i have an ME system with 16 drives, everything is split up with Subnetworks and as far as i know its working correctly. My huge issue is i have 8 deep storage units hooked up to my network on its own subnetwork and for some reason anytime i run my ender quarry or put an item into my storage it does not go to my deep storage. I have searched for days to figure out ways to get it right but now sure how anymore. here is 2 screen shots of kinda what its like.

It looks like you're trying to stuff 9 channels onto a single subnet. There's the interface and 8 storage buses. Try replacing the cable on your subnet with smart cable, and you'll see.

Just the 11 glass fiber cables in the subnet. If the lights on the cable turn off, you're trying to place too many channels there.

So, ran some smart cable all the way across, kept my subnet connections, for instance, bottom right Deep storage has obsidian, or atleast the storage bus is set for that. Anytime i put obsidian in the ME system it still doesnt update or seem to update deep storage at all, unles the storage unit isnt going to show how much is in there and it reads from the ME system? how can i tell?

Hmm... that's something I don't know how to fix, then. Sorry. It seems you're on the right track, but someone else will need to help you here. Perhaps it's a problem with having a recursive subnet?

Perhaps? Maybe ill move the deep storage to straight underneath my ME controller and see if that does anything

I know in the past I had an issue with Deep Storage not wanting to work with Storage Busses correctly. I had to use a separate Export but and an extract only Storage Bus to get it working. I believe I has the Storage on the bottom and the export on the back. Final # ended up being 64 off, I believe because of the way Deep Storage buffers, but it worked.

Could you perhaps share what storage priority you have set the drives and the storage busses to?

The subnet-storage busses should all have a higher priority than the drives. Otherwise, your ME system will try to fill up the drives closer to the terminal or other inputs before sending items into the connected sub-network.

Maybe this is a signature, maybe it is not. Who knows?

So i dont have any priority on the storage buses going to the deep storage subnet, but the storage buses on the deep storage themselves ive tried 512, 256, and 64, they are at 64 right now. But from what i can tell yes, everything is filling to the closer storage drives near the terminal.

I have even moved the deep storage a subnet closer and still same issue. Not sure where the issue(s) lies.

You might want to try setting the import bus for the items into a chest or other storage device, and then taking said items out of the chest and into the DSU's with any piping system (XU transfer nodes, TE itemducts, etc.)

Well, then you should increase the priority of the subnet-Storage Busses. That should fix your issue. This would mean that all input will get sent as far to the "right" as possible, though.

I vaguely remember having to change a setting on the DSU itself, but they may be i-sided in a way where you can't input and output from the same face. I know the were some barrels that you could only input to the top and output from the bottom, but I don't specifically remember what was going on with the DSUs.

@MacAisling I believe that was the 1.8 or 1.9 version of YABBA. I remember having to deal with that in one of the DireWolf20 packs. Was a nuisance.
