Hello guys, i have a question.

First of all i have an alienware m17x with 8GB ram and 64 bits, i can add 8GB ram but i don't think thats good, how much shall i use in the option screen? And i almost tested all ram things i could select 1-8 and i still have huge laggs, any help? I know friends with older and less faster laptop and they can run the game much smoother :( Help me!

Thanks!

Edit: i just pressed f3 ingame and i saw my fps is always around 15 and i know thats very low for minecraft, can it because of my laptop overheating? My laptop is if i game a bit like when play ftb for 30min or something on 85-90°C can that cause the FPS/Lagg?

First, do this to rule out ANYTHING that could be wrong with your setup:
Please follow these steps exactly: http://desk.feed-the-beast.com/index.php?/Knowledgebase/Article/View/9/0/basic-troubleshooting
This is to rule out any issues with your setup.

If you continue to have trouble, please post your complete client-side (launcher) console log in debug-mode to pastebin.com and link your paste URL here.
To find your logs and prevent them from expiring: http://desk.feed-the-beast.com/inde...29/1/what-log-do-you-need-where-can-i-find-it

It says: An error occurred while opening the installation log file. Verify that the specified log file location exists and that the file is not read-only.

it's in my language at the screenshot but i translated it.

I think i know the problem. My CPU is around 85-90c if i game, i googled a bit and they said everything under 70c is good and that most laptops and pc's have like 40-50c, so my temperature is to high, i'm going to buy a cooling mat to cool off my laptop. Then i will probably have a higher FPS and less lagg!

Already updated my drivers
