FTB Horizons

I launch the game go to single player click create new world then the whole ftb stops responding any ideas on how to fix

FTB Direwolf20 takes an age to load up on my system, it took me about 3 or 4 attempts before I realised it was installing everything. I look at the console, and watch it installing all the elements. Keep an eye on that, if the console starts spitting out red text, then it's knackered, close it, retry. But it takes AGES sometimes.

*edit* Just tried Horizons myself, seems that the horizons.zip takes a while

That's the bugger... Got it installed, it took about 5-10 mins to do the horizons.zip - Seems to hang itself, but its' still going. Hope you get it running

Many of the issues I've seen with the updated launcher have been related to the users game setup, so I'd like to rule that out as a possibility.

If that does not work for you, please post your console log to to pastebin.com and link it in this thread.

The download usually takes 5 to 10 minutes, it's a large download, and over the last day or so we've been really taxing the servers by downloading all the things.
