Hello folks,

I'm Shadeslay, 28 from London, UK.

I used to work as a community administrator within the gaming industry and, after being out of the loop for some years, I've been inspired by somebody I know over at the Yogscast to start producing my own Youtube content.

It's still early days but my first series takes an in-depth look at the FTB Horizons modpack. I'm three weeks into Witchery at the moment, with an update every week.

This is completely new to me, but I'm thoroughly enjoying it and thought I'd take this opportunity to share what I'm doing with the amazing community here. Your comments are incredibly welcome - what do you like, what don't you like? Leave a comment here or on the channel.

Hey Dante. Thank you - I've enjoyed creating it!

I've just updated to the latest version of the Horizons modpack - I'm not sure if it has the latest version of Witchery, but it has added a whole load of stuff including some new potions. The Witchery mod has so much content - there's still quite a lot for me to explore. Next weekend I'll be doing a special episode including a little tour of the building and looking at the other floors which are being prepared for some of the other mods.

My hardcore playthru of only Witchery (and some utility mods) ended violently last night like two minutes after I ran across my first Coven Witch. I'll come back to Witchery in a couple weeks, as I really enjoyed it.

Aha - that sucks! It's a dangerous world out there though...

I wouldn't want to do a full Horizons hardcore survival series - there are some pretty feisty new mobs in the world, all waiting to take a chunk out of you! I'm really enjoying Witchery, but I'm looking forward to taking a closer look at Advanced Genetics too. There's a lot of fun stuff in that mod. A witchery speed run could be interesting... see how quickly you can summon and defeat The Horned Huntsman.

Anyway... episode 7 has just gone up, and next week I'm going to do a special tour of the facility to celebrate the first 1,000 views on my channel since I launched it in January. Baby steps, but I'm really grateful to everyone who has watched my vids, left comments and subscribed.
