FTB Horizons not launching

When i try launching FTB horizons the launch button goes grey, then the launcher vanishes, but no minecraft window appears.

I am able to run other mod packs, but not this one.

FTB Launcher version (if this isn't the newest update update and try again): 1.2.9

Minecraft Version: 1.6.4 for Horizons

Java version: version 7 update 45

Detailed description of the issue / how can the issue be recreated:
When i try launching the new FTB modpack, Horizons, the launch button goes grey then the launcher vanishes, but no minecraft window opens
