Details of the issue So I been trying to get this pack to work for me and any world or server i log into has me watching a picture slideshow the lag is so bad. I've tryed updating my graphics driver, java, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the pack multiple times and still nothing. Im currently at wits end cause me and my friends bought a server to play this pack and they are having no issues. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

AMD FX-8120 Eight-Core Processor 3.1GHz
OS Memory: 16330MB RAM
AMD Radeon R9 Fury Series 4gb
Driver Version: 23.20.788.0
Java version 8 update 151 (build 1.8.0_151-b12)

So installed my 650ti and solved all my issues (currently 250fps average) So seems to be issues with amd drivers.

Has anyone found the actual issue yet for people with an AMD card? A fix would be even better.

Hey, I have the same problem and I have updated driver. I was wondering if anyone had a solution.
Specs :
- Sapphire Radeon HD 7950
- QuadCore Intel Core i7-3770K, 3700 MHz (37 x 100)
- 8 Go RAM

you also have a AMD Graphics card i believe so you need to obtain a Nvidia card to fix your issue :p

My friend and I just started playing this pack and he runs Nvidia and I have an AMD card. His game ran fine but I was experiencing the horrendous lag which led me to this post. I installed optifine and was messing around with every setting to try and fix it and turning off terrain animation worked.
