FTB Horizons Failure to launch/CTD

Description of the Issue: First try at Horizons. Click launch, the console starts moving, a window for Minecraft appears for a brief second and it CTDs. I have no extra mods installed. I have verified no other Java programs/updates exist. Please advise...

a critical class is missing:

select "Force Update" in the settings tab of the launcher, then launch the modpack again. it will rebownload the entire modpack again

Force update had no effect.

I just tried downloading the DW pack and received the same crash report. I can load versions I have installed already like mindcrack and unleashed... Something with 1.6.4 packs?

i doubt it. im running 3 of the 1.6.4 packs with no problems at all.
