FTB Horizons crashes on startup (while loading mods)

Details of the issue:
When launching FTB Horizons (v1.2.0), it loads maybe a few mods and promptly crashes.
I have the latest Java (x64). I've reinstalled the modpack and tried forcing an update, but no luck. I also use FTB infinity, which works just fine.​

You don't have latest Java, or at least FTB launcher ain't using it. Matter Overdrive mod _REQUIRES_ Java version 8 (1.8)
