  • What OS are you running?
I have no idea since we rent the server from fragnet
  • Are you using minecraft hosting provider or a dedicated/local server not designed for minecraft?
It's a mincraft hosting provider Designed for minecraft
  • What version of FTB are you using? (Dont just say latest tell us the version)
    FTB Hermitpack 1.4.0
  • Did you add any mods to the server pack?
    No
  • A good detailed paragraph about the problem
I just can't get it installed, fragnet doesn't have the autoinstal for 1.8 or higher, and i tried to put everything in myself with Filezilla but it just doesnt start up.
respond if you need some more information

There should be an option to select the jar file, is it set correctly? When you attempt to start the server does it print any errors? Also before uploading the files did you run the FTBInstall file?

There should be an option in McMyAdmin to select which jar file you use. If you click Configuration and then Server Settings, there should be a Server type drop down menu. I don't know what options you have in there but last time I used McMA I selected ForgeMod and renamed my jar file to ForgeMod.jar. When you try to start the server check the console to see if there are any errors.

Try selecting the forgemod and then rename your jar file to forgemod.jar.
