FTB Freezes!!!

Hello I started FTB and when I play for a little bit it starts to freeze. And when it starts it gets worse. It will freeze then it will stop for a second then do it again and it will get to the point where it is unplayable. Here are my PC specs.

GTX 580 2Gb

AMD Bulldozer at 4.2 Ghz

16GB of RAM DDR3

What could be the problem???

Everyone I know of suffers from the 0 FPS bug, if you do a search on "0 FPS Minecraft" you'll find tons and tons of posts about it with no solutions. It goes a long way back too into vanilla MC. Sometimes I get it and have to esc quit back to main menu then I can reconnect again, sometimes I can go for a couple of days without it.
