is anyone up to showing me the in's and out's of Forestry in FTB? i really wanna have a better understanding of it and the wiki isn't really helping me.

what kind of information are you after?
Howtos for getting the farms to work?, or a more comprehensible howto for making a particular forestry related infinity plus power machine with farms and engines and stuff?

Aim to master that and you've mastered Forestry

In effect, to get your machines going, you now need a Thermionic Fabricator to make the metallic vacuum tubes. Then you need the Carpenter to make the circuit boards.

To make the vacuum tubes in the Thermionic Fabricator, you can look up the recipie in NEI, but it also needs glass in the slot up in the top left area to do it.

The Carpenter's recipes are in NEI, go look it up.

build all of that and you will have an amazing surplus of energy and materials at all times. that setup makes enough stuff to flood an entire server with free UU matter if that is where you feed the surplus.
