i have an old mac, but when i try to open the .jar file it just says: the java-JAR-file FTB _Launcher.jar can not be started. roughly stranslated are there any alternative sources i can try to get FTB work? i'd really love to

Make sure you're computer has Java 6 by going to Software Update in the apple menu. If it still does not work, go to http://support.apple.com . I use a old mac as well and did not get tis problem.

i have no new software updates...

nevermind that, it worked finnaly but, it just stops when i press launch...

scratch that too, it only crashes on ultimate when i try connect to a server... -_- an ultimate server...

Sorry that you crash on ultimate servers. If you do a pastebin of your FTB console while connecting to the server, I might give better advice.

i pasted it? but what other advice could u give me than? it just says: connecting to 199.241.141.33, 25565 (the console) and the 'mc screen' says logging in and than it turns black....
and when i create a world it gets stuck at the converting world screen....
