FTB Extreme FPS Issues

Hello, recently I decided to give FTB a try again. I've been using the FTB Monster Pack, however this problem occurs in other packs as well. I can play Minecraft normally with 60+ FPS but when I try FTB I get 5-10 FPS. I've tried everything from updating my Graphics Card to downloading Razer Game Booster to adding Optifne to the mods. Nothing seems to work. Some of my computers specs are listed below. What can I do?

Inspiron N5110
Intel Core i3-2350M 2.30GHz Processor
6.00 GB RAM
Intel HD 3000 Graphics Card

Well, its either the pretty bad onboard gpu or the slow dual core...

I have a good computer and a laptop, The laptop is basically the same as yours. The problem you are having is just your computer isn't good enough. Everything there is good but the graphics card. Get a nVidia if possible.

That's what I would like to do, the problem is the graphics card is embedded in the motherboard, so I can't get a better one without replacing the entire Motherboard. I've seen mixed opinions online about whether or not you can add a graphics card.

Also the "onboard"/"ondie" gpu hasn't been on the mobo in quite a number of years. (I think since the AM2/775 sockets) Gpus located on the CPU die nowadays.
