I tried to download FTB, after the 2nd download finished (the one that takes less time), I got an error saying "Could not create Java virtual machine"

I went through the installation guide and followed the steps carefully.[DOUBLEPOST=1393367377][/DOUBLEPOST]I made a post earlier like this, I wasnt able to be on my computer though

Uninstall all versions of Java other than 1.7.0_51.

Also, since you're using an old XP machine with 2 GB of RAM total, the only 1.6.4 FTB pack you will be able to play is FTB Lite 2. Your computer just doesn't have the available resources to run the other 1.6.4 FTB packs. You can also give the older packs a try and see if those work.

Edit: I just noticed that you're trying to run Unleashed, which is for 1.5.2, so hopefully once you uninstall those old versions of Java, things should work out okay for you.

Also, try lowering your RAM usage to 1 GB; I don't think you have 1.5 GB of RAM free, which is also causing an error.

Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs. Find 'Java 5' and 'Java 6' and Remove them.

On the FTB launcher, click Options and lower RAM to 1 GB (from 1.5 GB).

I LOVE YOU[DOUBLEPOST=1393369950][/DOUBLEPOST]OMG OMG OMG I am so exited I have tried so long and now it worked because of you
keep up the good work[DOUBLEPOST=1393369984][/DOUBLEPOST]I 'Like' both wittily amusing posts and correctly informative posts. Sometimes I want a double 'Like' button... #FirstWorldProblems

I would do more in the Tech Support forums but I die a little each time I see a console log with Windows 7/8 32-bit. I mean, why in God's name are people still using 32-bit operating systems?
LOL I love that... I have 32 bit and my post was probally pretty funny to u[DOUBLEPOST=1393370066][/DOUBLEPOST]Thank You... time to do homework :(

Well, glad to be of assistance. And when it comes to XP 32-bit, it's expected to be 32-bit. XP 64-bit is a very rare breed (I ran it for a while, but I'm an oddball).

And have fun playing Minecraft after your homework, but be sure you did your homework right as well!

@Ashzification , another one done.
