All of a sudden, it takes about 30 minutes to download a modpack, e.g. Mindcrack. I've had others test it; they experienced the same, so it is not a network issue. Is FTB under maintenance today with these slow speeds, or is something else at work?
In your Options tab, check in the Advanced Options to change your download location to a local-to-you location. Sometimes the Auto options picks bad places to download from.
