FTB Direwolf20 Huge lag spikes

I have tried to play on the direwolf20 Modpack. I just get huge lag spikes(3 secs) like every
7 seconds which is so anoying i know my pc isnt the best but pls help me fix this problem.
And im gettin' these [Server] Can't keep up... messages.
Ill also post my PC specs:

Graphic Card: ATI Mobility Redeon HD 5470
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM i3 CPU M370 @ 2.50GHz 2.40 GHz
RAM: 3.00gb
32-bit

Java Version: Version 7 Update 45 (Build 1.7.9_45-b18)


PS: for the specs i just took them like they stood there in my thing.

Welcome. I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but... You are referring to the 1.6.4 version of the pack right? If you are then you should know the newer packs are not built for 32bit computers. They require 2+GB of RAM to be allocated to work best. The problem is 32bit Java limits you to 1GB max. There is no way around this on a 32bit computer. The only pack that was built to work on 32bit computers is FTB Lite2. Though it has been reported that some 1.6.4 packs like Horizon and Magic Farm 2 work well on a 32bit computer. For more info look here and the last post of that thread for the report of the 32bit computer specs that run the other 1.6.4 packs well.

Thanks alot for the awnswer. It was totally right. I think so :D. But the thing is that my pc was acualy a 64 bit before but then it became a 32 bit i dont know how lol. So i have a 64 bit live cd im gonna set my pc back to 64. :D

The only way that would happen is if somebody installed a 32bit os onto it because it can't just change to 32bit for no reason.

It didnt chANge for no reason. Some1 who repaired my motherboard had to reinstall windows and he installed a 32 bit version. Sry that i didnt mention that
