FTB Custom Modpack will not launch

Details of the issue When you click start game on the launcher, it doesn't launch and I get that stacktrace

again, it was minecraft 1.7.10

The game launched once the first time, then didn't launch again.

tried reinstalling. didn't fix

well, interestingly, despite just running the most recent java (downloaded 2 days prior) this fixed it.

You MC is still started with java 6. I'm not sure if you are even using FTB Launcher. It gives warning about java version every time you start the launcher if java 6 is selected.
