Hi!
I recently downloaded the FtB launcher and unfortunately was unable to use it. As soon as I downloaded the DW20 modpack and attempted to launch it, FtB Launcher would go through the motions of attempting to launch, but then before anything happened it would just quit and disappear.

Anyone have any ideas of what to do? Java is up-to-date. Here is the pastebin of the crash report:

Thank you so much!

your running out of ram because you only have java 32 bit installed. unfortunatly, you cant install java 64 because your OS is only 32 bit
Code:
Operating System: Windows 8 (x86) version 6.2
Java Version: 1.7.0_51, Oracle Corporation

Just an FYI in case you do not already know this. I really wish I could rely on those logs for that info, but the windows bit it reports is determined by which version of Java is installed. If you have only 32bit version of java installed, or the launcher is preferring it, it will report that you have 32bit windows. This will happen even if you have a 64bit OS. I often will only rely on where the user has Java installed. If I see that they have Java installed in just 'C:\Program Files\' then I know that the info is good. If I see 'C:\Program Files(x86)\' then I know they have a 64bit OS, but have 32bit Java. However this is almost impossible to see in an error log which is why I prefer a console log. Thanks for listening.

I solved the problem by going to the Feed the Beast options menu, and downloading the 64-bit Java and just allocating another gig of ram to FtB. Thanks so much for steering me in the right direction!
