FTB can't create world!! Please help!!!

Hello, I've been trying to play FTB Ultimate for around a week now. I haven't been able to create even one world yet. The client gets stuck on Loading world: Building terrain. Here is the link to the pastebin log.

Any help is news to me. I'm not sure exactly what the console log is saying. Please reply to this topic with any sort of solution. I am using the FTB Ultimate pack v1.01 (Minecraft 1.4.7) with no extra mods and no disabled mods. Everything is default. The texture pack is also default, if that even makes a difference. I'm able to open up the launcher and the main screen (with the singleplayer, multiplayer, options, etc.) without any issues. It's just when I try to create a world.

I've been suffering this issue recently myself. I can't give a permanent fix for it (as it's a recurring problem for me), but the quick-and-dirty fix is to go to Options in the launcher and click 'Force Update' before launching. This will make it redownload the files and replace whatever got corrupted. It shouldn't damage your created games, but if you're just creating a new world, I recommend starting a new one in case the one you've been trying to create has an existing save file.

I haven't even been able to create 1 world yet, so I will try the force update today. Do you have any other things I can try out that'd fix my issue?

Try removing the ChickenChunks mod, or just play FTB Lite.
