I'm now playing for two weeks at ftb and love it, but I'm using the beta pack A v12. It run perfectly smooth (about 15 to 30fps) on single player. The problem is that I will like to play MindCrack online, but that versions give me a too much low fps (1-3 fps). I added the mod OptiFine 1.4.6 HD U D5 in JarMods and lowered everything to the minimun in the game, but it doesn't change anything. I tried also FTP Ultimate, but there is no difference, I also get the same low fps.
So, what are the difference between the beta, mindcrack and ultimate that will make the beta run smoothly and not the two others? Both mindcrack and ultimate use version 1.4.7 of minecraft where the beta use 1.4.2. Theoretically, the beta should run slower than the two others as it use an older version of minecraft.... no?
