Problem FTB App can't install modpacks on Mac OS

When trying to install a modpack using FTBApp for Mac it gets stuck on "Installing Vanilla Launcher".
I've already deleted the .ftba folder and reinstalled the app, but it's still the same, any ideas to solve this?

Hi!
I have the exact same problem, so It's not your fault. I hope developers are working on this. I'll create an issue on Github; I suggest you do so. It will increase the chances that our problem will be seen by them.

This issue is reported on GitHub, but there's no answer yet.
Fortunately the beta version of MultiMC has support for the new FTB packs
