ftb and java 8

so i was wondering for a while FTB didn't support use of java 8 and i was wondering is that fixed? cus some of the updates java 8 has would be very useful.

Running Resurrection and DW20 packs with Java 8 and no issues. Haven't tried any others. I think all 1.7 packs are fine with it though.

I'm running my own 1.7.10 compilation on Java 8. No problem so far.

FTB 1.6 modpacks don't work with some versions of java 8 due to a forge bug in minecraft 1.6 but there is a small mod that fixes that called legacyjavafixer which you could try to find and install into your ftb instance, otherwise just use java 7

Java 8 Update 11 works with the 1.6.4 packs, but anything equal to or above Update 20 in Java 8 will not work in 1.6.4 packs.
