FTB abnormally slow on 1.4.7 Ultimate Pack

Hello, I am French so, sorry if I make some mistakes in my english sentences.
I wish you could help me ! Well, I'm running on a Mac OS 1.9.3 Mavericks my processor is a 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo and I have a memory of 4 Go (1067 MHz DDR3). I've allocated 3Go of memory to FTB but still there is a problem ! FTB is to slow when I launch the Ultimate Pack 1.1.2 with the 1.4.7 minecraft version but, when I was looking for some infos by random I had launched the Ultimate Pack with this time 1.6.4 mine craft version and surprised there was no lag more ! Awfully my server is running on the 1.4.7 version so it didn't solve my problem but maybe my problem comes finally from my minecraft version, no ?
My java version si 1.7.0 up 60.

The first problem I see is that you have 3 of your 4 GB of RAM allocated to the launcher. Try it with only 2 GB allocated.
 
Thank you for your answer but I've already tried with 1,5 or 2 or 2,5 Go Allocated to FTB and it didn't work. But Thank you.
