FTB 1.5.2 Lan world not working. Help?

My friend is at my house and we want to start a Lan wolrd for FTB 1.5.2 beta but on both of our computers we cant see eachother's Lan wolrds. We also tried typing the ip. please help :p and yes ik it's buggy so if there is not fix please tell me.
